I just loved Lindsey. She's a super sweet young lady.  I was so happy we were able to keep her funky but more grown up.  During our shoe shopping Lindsey was so fantastic that I was so excited and inspired that I just needed to break it down.  The photo above reflects that.

We have so much fun doing the show. Getting into and out of the glamulance is a moment to work it and we do.

On Tuesday, April 6, I attended a candlelight vigil to honor and remember those transgender people who have been victims of violence. In the past two weeks, two trans women  have been found slain.  Violence against transgender and gender nonconforming people is all too pervasive.  So often our lives are treated as if they don't matter.  I feel it's imperative to remember those who we've lost and to speak out against anything that might perpetuate violence against trans people.

Carissa, last night's makeover, really touched me.  I think she represents so many women in America who after becoming mothers loose a bit of the women they were before the babies.  Carissa had stopped feeling sexy and consequently stopped having sex with her husband.
